Kingsport City Attorney Mike Billingsley announces retirement

Kingsport City Attorney Mike Billingsley calls it a career after serving the Model City for 28 years.

Billingsley was honored recently by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen. The attorney says he has no plans to move away and will continue to do some legislative matters for the city.

The UT Law School graduate has worked under six mayors and five city managers during his tenure, which will close at the end of the month.
