Kingsport Carousel to close January 1st for routine maintenance

Beginning January 1, the Kingsport Carousel will be closed to the public for routine maintenance. The city says the work is expected to take approximately one month to complete, and the popular downtown attraction will reopen in early February.
Though the carousel and gift shop will be closed, the adjacent playground will be open during normal parks hours.
