Kingsport Aquatic Center hosting Parkinson’s aquatic classes in January

The Kingsport Aquatic Center says it partnered with the Greater Kingsport YMCA to provide Parkinson’s aquatic classes in January. According to a press release, aquatic exercise improves motor impairments in those with PD significantly more than no intervention.

The program is six dollars for participants, and caregivers are welcome at no charge to assist participants during the class. Those wishing to register for these January classes should contact the Kingsport Aquatic Center.
