Juvenile Led Riot Causes Significant Damages At Mountain City Youth Facility

Several juveniles from Johnson County, Tennessee’s Mountain View Academy are scheduled to appear at a hearing after being detained Sunday following what is being called a juvenile led riot. Deputies responded to the trauma based treatment facility for at risk youth in Mountain City and discovered several juveniles had vandalized a portion of the facility, causing significant damages. Those juveniles were detained by deputies and were transported to the sheriffs office.
