Jonesborough man arrested after pursuing vehicle, shooting at driver

A Jonesborough man was arrested in a remote part of town after stopping a vehicle and shooting at the driver. Timothy Woodfin Sr., age 58, was arrested after an investigation revealed he pursued a vehicle on Dry Creek Road, eventually stopping it on the side of the road.

Woodfin then began firing shots into the occupied vehicle. No injuries were reported during the altercation. Timothy Woodfin was arrested and charged with two counts of both reckless endangerment and aggravated assault.
