Jonesborough man arrested after hitting brother with car during fight

A Jonesborough man was arrested for aggravated assault and reckless endangerment after police say he hit his brother with a car while fighting. Officers responded to a domestic dispute on Holly Hills Road, where they arrested Robby Wayne Nutter, age 44.

A report says a fistfight broke out between Nutter and his brother, which escalated when Nutter struck the victim with a vehicle. The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Officers discovered Nutter has an order of protection against him, filed by the victim. He was arrested with a $16,000 bond and taken to the Washington County Detention Center.
