Jonesborough man arrest for assault

A man was arrested after attacking a woman who then held him at knife-point and called police. The Washington County, Tennessee Sheriff’s Office arrested 32 year old Christopher Blacksten of Jonesborough Saturday and charged him with aggravated domestic assault. Blacksten broke through two doors and strangled the victim until she passed out. The victim was able to get away from Blacksten and get a knife from the kitchen, holding him at knife-point, and ultimately calling 911. Blacksten was booked into the Washington County Detention Center on a $50,000 bond.
