Johnson County authorities searching for “armed and dangerous” suspect
Johnson County authorities are looking for a man described as being armed and dangerous, following a pursuit. Johnson County Sheriff’s Office attempted to pull over a vehicle around 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Doe Valley area, that was being driven by Alexander “A.J.” Russom, who had active felony warrants. Russom did not stop and during the pursuit, allegedly tried to hit several vehicles and ran some citizens and officers off the road. The pursuit continued into the Butler area where Russom was able to lose officers. Mr. Russom should be considered armed and dangerous. Russom is described as being 5-foot-7, weighing 170 pounds, and having blue eyes and brown hair. He also has numerous tattoos on his neck. Anyone who sees him is encouraged to call the sheriff’s office or 911.
