Johnson City shooter receives 95 year sentence from judge

Convicted Johnson City murderer Billy Anderson received a sentence of 95 years in prison, according to a report issued by District Attorney Steve Finney.

Anderson pleaded guilty in February to shooting Brionah Tester at her city apartment in March 2022.

Months later, Anderson stabbed an inmate at the Washington County Detention Center with a lightbulb and resulted in an attempted first-degree murder charge.
