Johnson City man threatened victim with a knife during possible attempted carjacking
A Johnson City man was arrested on Monday for aggravated assault after he threatened someone with a knife. A report says Bobby Porter, 45, is behind bars after JCPD responded to reports of a carjacking on Hamilton Street, where a victim stated Porter pulled her out of the driver’s seat at knife point, threw her to the ground, continued to threaten her, then left the scene without stealing the car.
Police later found Bobby Porter on East Holston Avenue where he was taken into custody and booked on a $15,000 bond.
