Johnson City Man In Court On Burglary, Assault And Child Neglect Charges
A Johnson City man is scheduled for court on Tuesday after police say he broke into a residence by breaking a window and kicking down the door to gain entrance, then punched, kicked, and choked the victim and the victim’s ten year old daughter was also cut by the broken glass. Tony Plater, of E Market Street also attempted to strike the female victim with his car. Police say the victim was bruised and bleeding when they arrived at 902 N Barton Street. Plater is charged with Aggravated Burglary, Aggravated Assault, and Child Neglect.
