Johnson City man charged with theft over $1,000

Officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested 39 year old Lincoln Paul of Johnson City and charged him with one count of theft over $1,000. On March 16th At 7:30 a.m. officers responded to Walmart on Browns Mill Road, in reference to a theft. A woman told police that she left her phone on one of the self-checkout registers. When she returned to get it, it was not there. Store surveillance cameras captured Paul taking the phone. A warrant was obtained for his arrest and police later arrested him at his home. Paul was taken to the Washington County Detention Center.
