Johnson City Man Charged With Shooting His Girlfriend

A Johnson City man is jailed Wednesday after a weekend shooting incident that left one person injured. According to Johnson City Police, Steven Warren was taken into custody after officers arrived at 204 Hamilton Street after reports of a shooting. Police discovered the victim on the curb with what appeared to be a gunshot wound to her shoulder. The victim told police, Warren had shot her and then fled in a Toyota Tundra. Investigators located Warren a short time later and found a firearm in the bed of truck. Warren is charged with Aggravated Assault and Carrying or Possession of a Weapon.
