Johnson City Man Behind Bars After Attempting To Choke Police Officer
A Johnson City man is jailed after allegedly assaulting a female victim, then attempting to place a choke hold on a responding police officer. 31 year old Isaac V. Jackson is to be arraigned after officers responded to a domestic assault call on South Pickens Bridge Road. As officers arrived, Jackson made an attempt to flee . While police were placing Jackson in custody, he attempted to place the arresting officer in a choke hold. Officers quickly restrained Jackson and is awaiting an arraignment in Washington County Tennessee General Sessions Court on Aggravated Assault on a First Responder, Simple Assault Domestic and Resisting Arrest.
