J.C. Commissioners To Consider Largest Annexation Request Next Month

With Johnson City’s Planning Commission approval, the full Johnson City City Commission will now consider approving the largest, single home development project members have ever considered. Following a public hearing in Gray just this week, the planning commission recommends approval of a 135 acre annexation in Gray near Ridgeview School. The commission also recommends city commission approval a specific plan of services for the new development as well as a Rural Neighborhood zoning for the largest portion. Commissioners will discuss the matter on December 15 on First Reading.
