Investigators charge child accused of making school death threats

Several school threats have populated on social media sites since the shootings at Apalachee High in Georgia. The majority have been bogus, including the one that sent a Washington County, Virginia student to a juvenile facility.
The child is criminally charged with four counts of threats of death or serious injury at a school. The post online showed aerial pictures of the schools with what the Sheriff’s Office called disturbing sound effects.
A morning post from the Sheriff’s Office said increased law enforcement was sent to John Battle High School and High Point Elementary along with E.B. Stanley and Wallace Middle Schools.
