Increased passenger traffic reported at Tri-Cities Airport

The Tri-Cities Airport officials continue to see an increase in passenger traffic, leading to longer wait times getting through security. A planned expansion to the security checkpoint area is intended to help improve this. The checkpoint expansion will allow for more lanes, moving people through the process faster. In addition to expanding the checkpoint area, the airport also has new security screening devices, 3D scanners making it easier to screen bags.
