Illegal gambling machines found inside gas station in Town of Unicoi

The Town of Unicoi Police Department and the Unicoi County Sheriff’s Office have uncovered eight illegal gambling machines inside a gas station. A search warrant was issued for Ron’s Market, 4025 Unicoi Drive, to seize evidence for four alleged illegal gambling machines on February 5, and on Thursday night four more machines were seized. The owner of the gas station was reportedly arrested. Both departments urge Unicoi County residents to report any suspicious activity related to illegal gambling.
