Holston River Task Force nets 22 arrests in drug suspect roundup
Four people were taken into custody near the Scott County / Washington County, Virginia border after a drug investigation by state officials and the Holston River Task Force.
Supplies of meth and fentanyl and 12 guns were seized while two people with outstanding warrants were arrested.
The report identified the suspects as Stacey Lane, 48, Brandon Kirkpatrick, 32, Joshua Jackson, 39, all of Bristol, Virginia, and Timothy Hayes, 43, of Bristol, Tennessee.
The task force also assisted the Russell County Sheriff’s Office in a similar operation that netted 18 suspects charged with 75 felonies and 33 misdemeanors. According to Sheriff Bill Watson, 15 of those individuals have been taken into custody and are scheduled for hearings in Circuit Court.
