Greeneville City Schools Board of Education named Tennessee School Board of the Year

The Greeneville City Schools Board of Education was named the Tennessee School Board of the Year. The Tennessee School Boards Association annually honors a school board for excellent service. A board must be a TSBA Board of Distinction, among other qualifications in order to be considered for this award.

GCS Director of Schools, Steve Starnes, says, “This is quite an honor for Greeneville City Schools and I want to say thank you to the Board for their leadership, service, and commitment to our students, staff, and community.”
