Greene County Health Department to provide free vaccinations
The Greene County Health Department and Providence Medical Clinic are providing free vaccinations to flood victims in the area of a clinic taking place Monday at Mount Carmel United Methodist Church, in Chuckey, from 7 a.m. until 1 p.m. Vaccinations offered free of charge include TDAP, hepatitis A and influenza. Individuals clearing debris should make sure they’re up to date on a tetanus vaccination. Avoid contact with floodwater if you have any open wounds to prevent an infection. Vaccination operations will resume Monday at the Greene County Health Department, as well as walk-in visits on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
