Grace Manor Inc. awarded grant from The Food Lion Feeds Foundation
The Food Lion Feeds Charitable Foundation has awarded a $10,000 grant to Grace Manor, Inc., which is an organization that works to ensure all students in Washington County, Tennessee have access to healthy meals. A news release from Food Lion’s charity foundation said its disaster relief grants aim to provide financial help to community feeding partners that are playing a pivotal role in Hurricane Helene recovery efforts. Grace Manor operates and stocks food pantries at eight Washington County schools and also operates a mobile food pantry out of a school bus, which is now fully funded thanks to the grant. Families can visit the mobile food pantry each Thursday at different locations across Washington County.
