Governor says assembly discourse means no school voucher plan this session
Governor Lee admitted defeat of his dividing school voucher plan, saying the bill is dead for this session as Tennessee lawmakers failed to reach a deal on the package.
Lee announced the plan that would have allocated thousands earmarked for parents to choose their child’s education base.
Dozens of public school directors rejected the idea in fear of losing dollars to the plan.
