Fund raiser started to help family of Dobyns Bennett student with funeral expenses

Friends of the family have started a GoFundMe campaign to raise $10,000 to cover the funeral costs of a 14-year-old Dobyns Bennett High School student killed earlier this week.

The report identified the teen as Zaine Hite. He was with another 14-year-old when he was shot at Holston Terrace Apartments on Tuesday. The suspect is charged with criminally negligent homicide.
