Four Injured In Wild Southwest Virginia Police Pursuit, Charges Pending By VSP
Four people were injured, two with life threatening injuries following a multi jurisdictional law enforcement pursuit in Southwest Virginia. According to Virginia State Police, the agency was called to assist in the pursuit that began in Montgomery County Virginia on interstate 81 and into Pulaski County. The Chrysler attempted to take the I-77 ramp in Carroll County when it struck a parked tractor trailer on the shoulder. The driver was ejected and both he and the front seat passenger received life threatening injuries while two other passengers in the back were seriously injured. VSP say two firearms were recovered from the vehicle and the agency plans to file charges.
