FEMA Disaster Survivor Assistance Teams set up at Fender’s Farm Tuesday and Wednesday

Specialists with the Federal Emergency Management Agency will be set up at Fender’s Farm to help people apply for assistance. Disaster Survivor Assistance Teams will be set up from 2 – 7 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday. Fender’s Farm is located at 254 Highway 107, in Jonesborough and has served as a hub for supply distribution, vaccinations and more since Hurricane Helene impacted the region. FEMA will also be going door to door in Washington County with a local representative. FEMA workers will be wearing marked vests and can present a badge to verify their position.
