Federal Funds Headed To Southwest Virginia Health Care Facilities
Virginia United States Senators Mark Warner and Tim Kaine are announcing several health care facilities in Southwest Virginia are receiving significant funding from the Federal Government to better serve vulnerable communities that have been disproportionately affected by the COVID19 pandemic. Southwest Virginia Health Systems, Clinch River Health Services, and St. Charles Health Council are receiving more than one point eight million dollars to provide care for Virginians in need, a situation worsened by COVID-19. In addition, the Virginia Department of Health has received grant funding in excess of 12 and a half million dollars. The money was awarded through the American Rescue Fund.
