Fatal motorcycle accident reported in Piney Flats Thursday

The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office says One person is dead after a motorcycle crash in Sullivan County Thursday. The crash report says the crash involving a Kawasaki motorcycle happened just after 10:30 p.m. on Allison Road in Piney Flats. The Fatal Incident Reconstruction and Support Team said the motorcycle was traveling west and exited the roadway for unknown reasons, and made impact with a large utility pole. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The sheriff’s office said the motorcyclist’s name is being withheld pending notification of family.
