ETSU Health hosting numerous initiatives to support October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month
ETSU Health is hosting multiple initiatives throughout October to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month and honor those who are battling cancer. The organization’s Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery team is accepting donations of hats and scarves for patients undergoing chemotherapy across the region. Donations may be dropped off in the main lobby of 325 North State of Franklin Road until October 29th. In addition to this, the team is hosting a “Paint a Pumpkin Pink” contest for the community to help raise attention to October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Participants can submit a photo of their painted pumpkin on Facebook with the hashtag #ETSUHealthPumpkinContest. The deadline for submissions is October 18th.
