Elizabethton’s Franklin Pool will remain closed again this season

The City of Elizabethton Parks and Recreation Department has announced that the Franklin Pool will remain closed for the 2025 summer season. The department said the start of a construction phase and pool renovations are the reasons for the closure. In July 2024, the Franklin Pool closed due to a lack of pressure from a main pump. The Department had anticipated opening the pool this year with new features.
