Elizabethton man arrested after burglarizing Gray business

An Elizabethton man is behind bars after reportedly burglarizing a business in Gray on Sunday. According to the Washington County, Tennessee Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to 154 Frog Level Road, where they found the suspect, Phillip Greenwell, 45, being detained by the property owner.

Investigation revealed Greenwell was seen by the property owner climbing out of a window to the business, and the vehicle he traveled in was reported stolen. Greenwell was arrested for burglary and possession of a stolen vehicle.
