East Tennessee charged with DUI following Jekyll Island crash
An East Tennessee lawmaker is captured on camera in Jekyll Island, Georgia performing a sobriety test given by a state trooper.
Sen. Ken Yager was arrested for a DUI in Georgia on Tuesday.
Troopers said they spotted a Ford Edge with Tennessee license plates, which was reported to be in a hit-and-run on Jekyll Island.

Published reports said Senator Ken Yager of Kingston was booked for DUI after reports of a hit and run crash.
The officers found the 77-year-old Yager at a convenience store parking lot where he had allegedly fallen after exiting his vehicle. Yager was later released after posting a $2,000 bond. He was just reelected as Chairman of the Senate Republican Caucus last month.
