Duffield man sent to prison for 10 years for child porn felonies

A Scott County Circuit Court judge recently sent a Duffield man to prison for 10 years after he was convicted on child sex charges.

Investigators said David Bishop, Jr., downloaded more than a dozen child porn videos, with some of those clips showing victims as young as 2 years old.

Bishop was indicted two years ago on 34 felony counts. He was also ordered to register as a sex offender following his release.

“While the identity of the victims may never be known, they will forever be victims, so long as, these images are continued to be viewed and traded on the web by individuals like the defendant,” said Scott County Commonwealth’s Attorney Kyle Kilgore in a prepared statement.
