Dr. Enuf is 75 and still fizzy

In a nation and region filled with energy drinks, one made in 1949 continues to bring the fizz to East Tennessee.

Thursday marked the 75th anniversary of Charles Gordon bottling the formula of Dr. Enuf–an occasion marked in Johnson City with current operators Chuck and Betsy Gordon.

The city selected Thursday as Dr. Enuf Day and the Gordons also collected a special proclamation signed by state leaders including Gov. Bill Lee.
