Downtown Bristol’s 20-foot guitar installation temporarily removed for “fine tuning”
The Bristol Chamber of Commerce says the iconic guitar that sits on the corner of State Street and Volunteer Parkway has been temporarily removed for what they call “fine tuning”. Chamber officials say the massive, 20-foot guitar installation requires repairs and maintenance, as it is constantly exposed to weather conditions.
Bristol Chamber officials say the guitar will be back in it’s home, looking better than ever, as soon as possible. The guitar came down on Monday, December 13th, and no re-installation date has yet been announced.
