Convicted January 6th mob member from Kingsport released from federal prison
The Kingsport, Tennessee man who received 7 and a half years for dragging DC police officer Michael Fanone into the January 6th mob at the US Capitol is no longer in federal custody.
Albuquerque Cosper Head was reportedly released from the Big Sandy US Penitentiary in Inez, Kentucky one day after President Trump signed a group pardon for the dozens jailed or awaiting trial.
Fanone testified that Head restrained him while other Trump supporters at the capitol’s Lower West Terrace injured him with blind punches and a stun gun–all recorded on Fanone’s body camera. Head was indicted in April of 2021 on assault charges and sentenced a year later.
Fanone suffered a heart attack, burns, a concussion, a brain injury, and has developed PTSD.
