Convicted felon carrying pistol during Marion traffic stop sent to prison for 4 years
A California convict who tried to escape police during a traffic stop in Marion, Virginia has been sent to prison for four years.
Christian Joseph Laxson McCool, 29, pleaded guilty to a federal weapon possession charge in connection to the December 2020 incident.
McCool pleaded guilty in September to stealing a car in Kentucky and then carrying a loaded 9 mm pistol along with drug paraphernalia.
