Congressional Delegation Likely To Vote No On Biden, McCarthy Debt Ceiling Agreement

Two of this regions Congressional delegation in Washington say they will vote no on the agreement reached between President Joe Biden and House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy over the nation’s debt ceiling legislation. Tennessee First District Congresswoman, Diana Harshbarger and Ninth District Virginia Congressman Morgan Griffith both say they will vote no on the recent agreement. Harshbarger says she will vote no because the approval of the bill will pass down trillions more dollars in debt to our children. Griffith says he will likely vote no, but is taking a longer look at the legislation.
