City of Kingsport adjusting garbage pickup routes over Thanksgiving holiday

The City of Kingsport says it will adjust garbage pickup routes due to the Thanksgiving holiday. There will be no garbage pickup on November 25th, Thanksgiving Day. Crews will pick up Thursday’s route on Friday, November 26th; and Friday’s garbage route will be picked up on Saturday, the 27th.

The Kingsport City landfill will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, as well– and will operate on normal hours the following Friday and Saturday. For more information on sanitation services, visit KingsportTN.gov.
