Christmas at Covered Bridge Park happening Dec. 10

Christmas at Covered Bridge Park returns to Elizabethton this weekend. Organizers say this event will lead straight into the annual Christmas parade Saturday night. Families are invited to enjoy a number of activities for free.

Festivities include storytime with Santa from 3 to 4 PM, free book giveaways while supplies last, special character appearances, and complimentary hot cocoa and cookies. Christmas at Covered Bridge Park happens Saturday evening from 3 to 5, then the Elizabethton Christmas Parade begins at 6.
