Chris Stapleton, Tyler Childers headline Kentucky Rising flood relief concert in October

The Blue Grass Community Foundation is organizing a benefit concert for next month to help Kentucky communities that are trying to rebuild following record flooding in July.

State natives Chris Stapleton, Tyler Childers, and Dwight Yoakam will headline ‘Kentucky Rising’ on Oct. 11 at Rupp Arena in Lexington.

The group said in a published statement that 100 percent of proceeds from the show will go toward financially supporting victims, their families, and first responders. Tickets go on sale Friday.
