Carjacking, Abduction, Robbery Suspect Captured In Bristol, Tennessee

A suspect who abducted a victim and then led law enforcement on a police chase through three areas of Southwest Virginia has been captured. 37 year old Joshua Robert Coleman, was captured at a residence at 2420 Volunteer Parkway Wednesday night by members of the Bristol, Tennessee SWAT Team following a tip on Coleman’s whereabouts. Coleman took police on a serpentine chase that began in Russell County, then to Bristol, Virginia where Coleman abducted and then later ditched the victim, before fleeing in a stolen car found on Goose Creek Road. Coleman is now housed in the Sullivan County Jail on multiple outstanding warrants including robbery, carjacking and robbery and use of a firearm by a felon.
