Busy Two Days For City Manager Candidates

Bristol Tennessee City Council will hear a presentation on a proposed amendment to the Volunteer Parkway South Redevelopment Plan on Tuesday that includes a multi-family, and single family residential development on Raceday Center Drive. The plan calls for 62 townhouses and 96 single family dwellings known as The Overlook that would be constructed with the use of tax increment financing to assist in the cost of providing necessary infrastructure. The amendment will be presented later to the Bristol Housing Board for consideration. If approved the matter will be formally considered by Council during their October 12 meeting.
