Buchanan County authorities identify two men who stole items from abandoned Hurley home
The Buchanan County Sheriff’s Office says they have identified the two men seen stealing items from an abandoned home in Hurley. Officials say two Kentucky men were noticed last week loading items into their vehicle at a home that was affected by the severe flooding in summer of 2021.
When a neighboring citizen approached them, one of the men brandished a gun to scare the inquiring resident off. They then left with the stolen items. Now, Buchanan County officials say the men have been identified, and names will be released once arrests are made through the help of Kentucky police agencies.
