Bristol woman charged with attempted murder after stabbing at Sullivan County storage unit
A Bristol Tennessee woman is accused of leaving her boyfriend for dead in a Sullivan County storage unit after locking him inside a storage unit and stabbing him in the chest.
Details released by the Sheriff’s Office said Lorraine Hearl, 41, is charged with attempted first-degree murder and especially aggravated kidnapping.
Hearl had reportedly had an argument with the victim at the unit on Moreland Drive. A witness told officers that Hearl came to his residence and said the victim needed to be let out of the locked building.
The victim received medical treatment. US Marshals and Sullivan County investigators took Hearl into custody on Thursday.
