Bristol Virginia Officials Raising Rates Of Non Residential Trash Pickup
Tuesday night, Bristol Virginia City Council voted to increase non residential waste collection fees and waste container permit fees to help offset the cost of repairing and closing the city’s troubled and often smelly landfill. For non residential customers, quarterly fees will increase thirty dollars to 150 dollars for collection of 95 gallon containers. Each additional container will jump from 60 to 75 dollars. For 300 gallon containers customers will pay a thirty dollar increase to 270 dollars and additional 135 dollars for each additional container. The new rates go into effect July 1.
