Bristol Virginia fire destroys vacant former school
Firefighters were on the scene of a fire at the former Robert E. Lee Elementary School in Bristol, Virginia on Tuesday morning. According to Bristol, Virginia Fire officials, crews we called to a large structure fire at the old school building on Oak Street around 5:45 Tuesday morning. Arriving crews confirmed the multi-story building was fully involved and a second building at the location was also involved. Firefighters from Bristol, Virginia and Tennessee responded. Emergency officials say the area will be searched for any victims, and that it’s too early to tell what started the fire.
