Bristol, VA man plead guilty to second degree murder

A Bristol, Virginia, man accused of shooting two men in the head in December 2022 has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder. Police previously said Wynston Rhinehart shot the two victims along Harvey Lane. 29 year old, Christopher Carter, of Bristol, Virginia, died at the scene. The other man was a family member of Carter and survived but has undergone multiple brain surgeries. Rhinehart was previously charged with first-degree murder and other charges. Rhinehart pleaded guilty Tuesday to second-degree murder, and multiple related charges. His sentencing was set for January 16.
