Bristol VA first responders to conduct active shooter drill Monday
The Bristol, Virginia, Police and Fire Departments will conduct an active shooter exercise on Monday morning near Gate City Highway and Osborne Street. According to a release from Mike Armstrong, Fire Chief Emergency Management Coordinator, the active shooter exercise will begin around noon on Monday. The release said motorists may see emergency vehicles and personnel in the area, but there is no threat to the public. The exercise is for training purposes and traffic will not be disrupted.
