Bristol, VA City Council votes to censure member Michael Pollard
The Bristol, Virginia City Council voted to censure member Michael Pollard over his previous comments about the city manager. A censure is a formal reprimand of a public official. In a social media post earlier this month, Pollard apologized and admitted he had violated the council’s code of ethics by sharing information and also criticizing and lying about City Manager and City Attorney Randall Eads. Eads later called Pollard’s apology “sufficient.” Pollard declined to comment to the media at the meeting.
